My name is Gloria Maltun and my family and friends call me the Balloon Queen.  I am a mother of two and I love working with children.  I have formal child development education and over 10 years of experience working with children in different capacities.   I am an active member of my community and I have volunteered with First 5, Lego League, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, the education foundation, and the PTA.  I have also worked at local school districts with children who have special needs.   
 
What was once a challenge to entertain my son’s Cub Scout pack,  has now become my hobby and a passion.  I learned to twist balloons ten years ago to entertain a large Cub Scout pack and their siblings.  I could not let my fearless troop leader down because everything he did was always over the top, so I drove to Los Angeles to buy quality balloons.  I trained my family so they could help me during the Cub Scouts event and now here I am still twisting balloons and having a great time.
